 Mindfulness-based trainingS for Wellness, Resilience, and Improved performance 

​Every organization has a different culture as well as a distinctive mission and methods for achieving this mission.
We understand that every workplace is unique, and that pre-fabricated strategies and training are often ineffective. For that reason, we customize our programs to meet the needs and goals of our clients, especially lawyers, the military, doctors and others in high-intensity organizations. We provide consulting services and on-site meditation-based stress reduction, leadership and other trainings in conference rooms, offices, and at firm retreats.  Participants may wear business or casual clothes, and sit in chairs during each one of our programs.    
 
​Our mindfulness-based programs combine contemplative practices with subject matter instruction. 
 We  provide in-person and virtual trainings that combine subject matter instruction with a variety of contemplative disciplines  (including mindfulness meditation, tai chi, qigong, gentle yoga, relaxation techniques, and other practices) to create programs that will regenerate your organization from the inside out.   Our training teaches participants to focus on wellness and resilience as they enhance their professional abilities and learn ways to optimize the effectiveness of the organization.  Human potential is maximized through, among other things, improved physical and emotional health (including optimism and positive outlook), the development of the ability to pay attention and self-awareness, as well as reduced habitual behavior and emotional reactivity.   The organization is enhanced because leaders and staff have increased cognitive and physical abilities  as well as improved inter-personal skills which enable them to work together  to  achieve the organization's goals in a grounded and flexible manner.

A SAMPLE OF The Types Of PROGRAMS WE Offer

Introduction to Mindfulness
​
During this one hour workshop, participants will be introduced to mindfulness and a variety of short contemplative practices that will enable them to start to experience immediately the transformative benefits of meditation. This is a general introduction and suggested for all staff and management.  

​Meditation for Lawyers and Law Students:  These sessions are  designed to enable legal employers, law schools, courts and bar associations to meet the goals of the ABA's Task Force on Lawyer Well-Being.    

​Mindfulness for Leadership: Personal & ​Professional Growth
​R​esearch has demonstrated that mindful leaders have an enormous  influence on the individuals and the organizations that they lead.  This training is designed to help participants develop the qualities of a mindful leader, including relaxed presence, calmness under pressure, and excellent  inter-personal skills.    
​
​Stress Management Practicum
​
This six week class is specifically designed to reduce stress and enable participants to learn methods for remaining grounded and balanced in the midst of difficult circumstance.  Individuals will be supported in developing a home practice, and handouts will be provided to assist in the process.  This practicum is suggested for, among others, organizations that are in transition or employees that are experiencing personal or work difficulties.


​Mindfulness Training for the Military:
​As our military is required to perform even when experiencing severe stress and trauma, the class will focus on using mindfulness to build stress resilience and the ability to perform under adverse circumstances.
